The Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) is a full-service public safety agency. BSO's Department of Law Enforcement serves the Broward County Courthouse, the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, the county’s water ways, Port Everglades, all of unincorporated Broward County, and over 14 cities and towns that have contracted BSO to provide their services. The remainder of Broward County is patrolled by individual City Police Departments.
